Third-party audits provide an objective assessment of your compliance status and are often required by external stakeholders such as regulators, banks, insurance companies, and investors. The minimum recommendation is to conduct third-party audits annually and the best practice is quarterly.
We make it very easy for you to connect with third-party auditors on Simplifya. Simply log into Simplifya and go to the Manage Audits sub-module and then click the "Request 3rd Party Audit" button. Here, you can select a business that conducts third-party audits in your state, select the location you want to be audited, select the licenses that you want to be audited, and add any questions or comments to your request.
After submitting, an email is sent to the third-party auditor that includes the information you provided and your contact information. The third-party auditor will contact you either via email or phone call to discuss cost, scheduling, and any other topics to cover. After the details have been ironed out and the audit has been scheduled, the third-party auditor will schedule it in Simplifya and you will receive an email confirmation of this. If you guys don't come to an agreement, the third-party auditor will note it in Simplifya and your request will be canceled.
Payment to third-party auditors happens outside of Simplifya and Simplifya does not receive any sort of compensation from the third-party auditor.
