Simplifya has three types of email notifications. This article covers the different emails and steps on how to configure your email preferences.
Types of Email Notifications
Simplifya Assignment Notifications
Assignment Notifications are for when a task has been assigned to you (ex: an audit, action item/s, SOPs, etc.).
- These notifications come in a single email the morning after the assignment is created.
- Assignment Notifications emails only fire on days that you actually have notifications. If there are no notifications that day, there will be no email sent.
- You can turn this email notification on or off.
Simplifya Reminders
Reminders are notifications for when your task is due (ex: “You have an SOP due today”).
- These reminders come in a single email the morning of the day an assignment is due.
- Reminder emails only fire on days that you actually have reminders. If there are no reminders that day, there will be no email sent.
- You can turn this email notification on or off.
System Alerts
System Alerts are emails for things you need to be aware of or take action on in order to use Simplifya.
- These alerts come on an as-needed basis (e.g. when you need to reset your password or change your email address).
- These emails cannot be turned off.
Managing What Emails You Receive
To turn on/off your Assignment Notifications and/or Reminders emails, simply:
- Navigate to the "Profile" section of your account by clicking the "Menu" button in the top right, and then clicking the "Profile" button at the bottom of the menu.
- Check/un-check the email notifications you'd like to receive. That's it!
