Reviewing the Audit
After you've clicked the "Complete Audit" button (and synced your audit if you're using the iOS app), your audit is now in the "In Review" stage. This stage gives you the opportunity to review your audit notes and answers before finalizing the audit and generating the audit report. During review, you'll be able to see the compliance status of each question, you can change your answers, add or expand on your notes for each question, and add pictures and/or documents to each question.
This is a good time to provide context for things that require more explanation than you had time to address while conducting the audit. For example, you may have answered a question about a map of the video camera locations. In review, you can upload the map and add a note explaining when it was last updated.
This is also a good time to review all questions that you've marked as "Pending" (these are marked with a yellow dot in the "In Review" stage). Ideally, the "In Review" stage is when you'd gather the information you need to change "Pending" answers to "Yes" or "No."
- Sometimes changing an answer to a question will trigger new questions that need to be answered. For example, if you originally answered "No" to the question "Do you manufacture edibles?", then changing the answer to "Yes" will trigger a subset of questions about edibles manufacturing. When this happens, you will be placed back into the audit, at the question whose answer you just changed. Your audit will go back into "Pending" status until you answer the new questions and click the "Complete Audit" button again.
- Sometimes changing an answer to a question has the opposite effect: it will remove a subset of questions that you've already answered. For example, if you originally answered "Yes" to the question "Do you manufacture edibles?", then you answered a subset of questions that pertained to edibles manufacturing. If you change this answer to "No", then that subset of questions that you've already answered will be removed from your audit. Before this happens, you'll receive a warning prompt.
Finalizing the Audit
Once you've finished reviewing your audit, you're ready to finalize it and generate the audit report, which you can do by clicking the "Finalize" button at the top of your audit.
Note: After an audit has been finalized, you cannot change your answers.
After clicking the "Finalize Audit" button, your audit will now be in "Finalized" status and your audit report will generate.
