Conducting an Audit Using the iOS App

When conducting an audit, there are two important things to note:

1. You do not have to complete your audit in a single session. In fact, it's highly unlikely you will! Anything you do on your audit (answer questions, mute questions, add notes, upload files, etc.) is automatically saved. You can close out of your audit at any time and come back later and complete it. 
2. You can conduct your audit on a computer or on an iPad/iPhone using the Simplifya iOS app, or both. You can probably answer many of the questions on your audit while you're sitting at a desk. Other questions, you may need to be walking around and examining things. Simplifya's iOS app allows you to easily walk around and answer audit questions without lugging around a laptop, and even without wifi! Once connected to wifi, your audit data will automatically sync to the Simplifya database. This means you can start your audit on a computer, switch to the iOS app, and then switch back to working on your audit on a computer.

Starting the Audit

If you haven't already done so, download the Simplifya iOS app on an iPhone or iPad. The Simplifya iOS app is only for conducting audits, so upon logging in, you'll only see outstanding audits that have been assigned to you. You will not see any other features like SOPs, Smart Cabinet, etc.

Upon logging into the iOS app, you'll land on "My Upcoming Audits", a list of audits that have been assigned to you that have not been competed yet. Locate the audit you want to conduct and tap "Download" to download the question set. After the questions have been downloaded, you'll be taken to your audit.

Note: When conducting an audit on the iOS app, you'll first need to be connected to the internet to log in and download the audit questions to your device, but you do not need to be connected to the internet during the audit. Once you're connected to the internet again, open the Simplifya app and all of your question data will automatically sync to Simplifya's database. This transfers all the audit question data (answers, notes, pictures) to the web. You can then transition to a computer to complete your audit (if you still have unanswered questions), and all of the audit data from your iOS device will automatically appear there.

Completing the Audit

Once all of the audit questions have been answered, the "Complete Audit" button will turn from gray to blue. Tap the button to complete the audit.

• If you were connected to the internet when you completed the audit, the next step is to log into your Simplifya account on a computer. The audit will now be in "Review" status, and you can review your audit answers before you finalize the audit and generate the audit report. 
• If you were not connected to the internet when you completed the audit, the next step is to connect to wifi. Once you're connected to the internet again, open the Simplifya app and all of your question data will automatically sync to Simplifya's database. This transfers all the audit question data (answers, notes, pictures) to the web. The audit will now be in "Review" status, and you can log into Simplifya on a computer to review your audit answers before you finalize the audit and generate the audit report. All of the audit data from your iOS device will automatically appear there.
