The short answer is that we review all audit content - parent and child questions, action items, and citations - as often as the regulations are updated. We try to stay on top all of our state and local regulations, but it's honestly not a perfect process and we'd welcome your help.
The long answer is that the above is really our minimum standard. You may notice that some content changes even when the regulations don't. This happens when we act on feedback that a question could be worded more clearly, we figure out a way to combine questions for the sake of efficiency, we introduce new content that mitigates or removes the need for certain other questions, etc. We have an in-house team of regulatory compliance experts, so we constantly push ourselves to think of ways to improve the audit module.
