Using Simplifya's Attestation feature, you can now require the person completing the SOP to attest to the accuracy of their work.
This has been a long-requested feature from clients who want to make sure they have a way to protect themselves legally from employee malfeasance, and also to track that employees have read important company or legal updates.
Requiring Attestation on an SOP Assignment
SOP assignments do not require attestation by default. In order to require attestation, simply check the "Require assignee attestation" box on the SOP assignment modal (see below). Assigning an SOP to all active employees will require each employee to attest the SOP.
Before being able to click the "Save & Complete" button, the assigned employee will have to certify that the information submitted is true and correct to the best of their knowledge.
The assignee will then have to type their name exactly as it appears in the system before being able to save and complete the SOP. This is case sensitive and the system will display the name as it's required to be entered as placeholder text in the attestation field. Once the name has been entered correctly, the "Save & Complete" button will become clickable.
On the "Assignments" tab of the SOPs module, you can filter SOP assignments based on whether or not attestation was required.
