There are two ways to upload files into your Smart Cabinet:
Directly into Smart Cabinet
To upload a file directly into your Smart Cabinet, all you have to do is:
- Navigate to Smart Cabinet.
- Select the state, the location, the Folder, and finally the Document that you want to upload the file to.
- Click the "Upload Files" button.
- In the modal that opens, you have 2 options:
- Drag and drop files from your computer into the modal. You can upload up to 5 files at a time.
- Click the "select files from your computer or Smart Cabinet." blue anchor text to upload files from your computer, from another Smart Cabinet Document, from your SharePoint account, or from your OneDrive account. If you are uploading files from SharePoint or OneDrive, you will be prompted to securely log into your SharePoint / OneDrive account.
- After selecting your file/s and clicking the "Upload" button, your file is now uploaded to the Document in your Smart Cabinet.
Upload files to Audit Questions, Action Items and Licenses
When uploading a file to an audit question, Action Item or a license in your License Tracker, there's a checkbox for "Add to Smart Cabinet." Checking this box for one or all uploaded files allows you to add them to your Smart Cabinet.
When adding files to Smart Cabinet:
- Users can select which location, folder and Document they want to upload files to.
- The "state" and "location" fields are preselected using the state and location of the audit or license.
Note: We've limited the maximum file size to 20MB per file. Trying to upload anything larger than that will result in an error.
