As of May 2020, Simplifya's Audits module gives you the ability to add your own audit questions.
Navigating to question manager
You can create and manage questions through the new "Questions" sub-module. To create a new question:
- Click the hamburger menu icon in the top right of the screen.
- In the slide-in navigation, select "Audits", and then "Questions".
Question manager tabs
Once in question manager, you'll see the following tabs, each displaying a different set of question-related data:
"Questions" tab
The "Questions" tab shows all of the questions you've created. Questions be filtered by a number of attributes (including state, category, status). Additionally, you can search questions by the text of the question or the question title.
By clicking on the ellipses menu next to a question, you can also take a number of actions and short cuts on that question, including:
- "View" (only for published questions)
- "Edit"
- "Deactivate"/"Activate" (to change the question status)
- "Attach to Group"
- "Attach to Template"
- "Delete"
Upon deleting a question, it will be removed from your list of questions, but will still appear on previously conducted audits. |

"Question Groups" tab
The "Question Groups" tab allows you to view and edit any Question Groups you've created. This tab allows you to filter and sort by a number of Question Group attributes, as well as search groups by name.
By clicking on the ellipses menu next to a group, you can also take the following actions on that Question Group, including:
- "Edit" (to change the name, description or state of the question group)
- "Delete"
- "Publish"/"Unpublish"
Deleting a Question Group does not affect any of the questions attached to it. |
By clicking on a Question Group, you can view the details of a Question Group, including:
- The description and state for a Question Group
- Questions attached to that group

"Categories" tab
The "Categories" tab allows you to view any categories you've created for questions. Your list of categories can be searched for and sorted by category name. Additionally, the list displays the total number of questions added to that category.
By clicking on the ellipses menu next to a group, you can also take the following actions on that Question Group, including:
- "View" (takes you the "Questions" tab, automatically filtered by the selected category)
- "Edit" (to changed the category name)
- "Delete"
Permissions
Only Managers and Administrators on the account can view the "Questions" sub-module (and by extension, the above tabs). The following permissions apply:
- LO Administrators: Can see all questions and Question Groups.
- LO Managers: Can only see questions and Question Groups in states where they belong to a location.
- AC Administrators/AC Auditors: Can see all questions and Question Groups.
